Bodywork and metal shaping in Vidauban, Var. We repair the metal — we don't cover it up.
There are two ways to fix old bodywork. Cut it out, weld a patch in, and bring the surface back with filler. It is fast, it is cheaper, and it lasts about three years.
Or you shape the panel until it actually fits, weld with full penetration, and tin the joints. Tin bonds to steel. Filler does not. It takes longer, and it is the only method that survives decades.
We would always rather work the second way. That is also why we are not the cheapest.
Nearly every panel gets a thin skim of filler before it sees paint. That is normal, and we do it too. What matters is what is underneath: was the steel shaped back first, or was the dent simply buried? We work both ways, and they cost different money. Tell us your budget and we’ll tell you honestly which one you’re buying.
Dominik Eisner is a coachbuilder, metal shaper and painter — qualified in vehicle refinishing and bodywork in 2007, in body repair in 2008. The complete training: the metal, the structure, the paint.
The workshop opened in Vidauban in 2025. Everything you see here came out of it.
The workshop →The workshop is out of the way, in the countryside outside Vidauban. That is excellent for your car — nobody drives past by accident. It is less convenient for you.
So we collect it, we work on it, and we bring it back. Many of our customers don’t live here year-round: in the Golfe de Saint-Tropez, close to one second home in four belongs to a foreign tax resident.
French, German, English. You follow the work remotely, in photographs, in your own language.
